- Reviewed in Canada on November 26, 2023I recently purchased this privacy screen protector about 2 months ago. The first, the positive: installation was straightforward, and the full coverage design means the entire screen is protected, which is great for peace of mind.
However, I noticed that the screen protector is prone to scratching quite easily. Within just a few days of normal use, several noticeable scratches appeared. This is disappointing, especially for a product designed to protect the screen.
Another downside is the screen brightness. With the protector on, the display seems dimmer. This isn’t a huge issue in low-light conditions, but in bright sunlight, it makes the screen harder to view.
The privacy aspect, a key selling point, is a bit hit-and-miss. From direct angles, the screen is obscured as advertised. Yet, from certain off-angles, the screen contents are still visible. While it does provide some level of privacy, it’s not as effective as I had hoped.
In summary, the privacy screen protector offers coverage and some privacy protection, but the ease with which it scratches and the impact on screen brightness are significant drawbacks. If privacy is your main concern, it might be worth considering, but keep in mind the potential issues with durability and display clarity.
