They are not entirely noise cancelling, but I actually prefer that. They take the sharp edge off of loud noises (in my case two screeching toddlers), but allow me to still be present and aware of what is going on.
The earbuds come with a ton of interchangeable options for size/fit.
My favourite part about this product was the clever carry case design. The earbuds fit in a tiny small case that you can attach to your keychain or backpack or wherever else is handy and convenient.
