On my truck, I had the engine light come on and stay on. I did the diagnostic with this scanner. It found the problem and I deleted the code. The engine light is not on anymore. I saved myself money and time by not taking the truck to a mechanic to have it scanned. It was worthwhile to purchase the scanner.
