  Purchased this as a 4k blu-ray player after selling my gaming consoles. Really impressed with how snappy the interface is, even for things like youtube. I found the picture quality on my Sony 930E to be ever so slightly better (richer? finer detail?) than through my Apple TV 4k, but the SOUND, holy smokes - that was night and day for me. This was using a modestly priced Marantz amplifier with KEF LS50 passive speakers.
