  I bought a similar product (different brand) looks almost the same, that was a little stiffer and could hold a regular palm help camcorder better (stay in the place I left it), but this one I cannot. It does what is intended and holds small action cameras quite well. The other brand I purchased jacked up it's price so considering this one was priced as it was, I can't really complain. The convenience of having a clamp is excellent and easy to use.
