  Not worth the cost even if it was $1. I will fully admit I was slow to notice but it doesn't shut off. We need to stand by it to watch if its boiling. If we are slow the water bubbles out and its a safety issue grabbing a wet and very hot kettle and removing it from the base. At the end of the day I wish I spent more money. I would rather not die from electrocution because i tried to save a $20 while boiling water for my MR Noodles !!
