I returned a TV mount that cost double this, in order to use this one. And even bought a second one.
This is a great TV mount. I originally bought a $100+ mount from Costco, but felt it was too much. Tried this one, and like it so much I bought a second one!
Install is pretty easy. Screw the vertical brackets to the TV. Mark-out, pre-drill, and then lag bolt the main mount to the wall. Then hang the TV on it, and make your adjustments. That's it.
One of my favourite things about it, is how stiff it is. Which is good. You can still easily move the screen, but it's not loose and flimsy. Some mounts I know move too easily, or need to be adjusted to be tight. The hardest thing may be adjusting the rotation. Since it takes for 4 screws to loosen before you can rotate it, it can be a little cumbersome, but you do it once, and that should be it.
I currently have this on a 40" TV in the basement (see my photos). I also put another one in the bedroom for a 49" TV. No issues
