  It was heavier than I expected, which is a good thing because it prevents it from falling over or moving when you pull a sticky note from it. Its adorable, I love it. 10/10 desk accessory
  
  If you are buying refills you have to make sure its the style that the sticky back is accordion style. I have some cheap off brand sticky notes that aren't Post-It and the sticky side is all at the top, those don't work here. It HAS to be able to swap back and forth from top to bottom or it just doesn't pull out as smoothly.
