  I had a fairly annoying buzz from my Eart Tele style guitar and saw online that shielding the cavities could help so I ordered this tape specifically as it was not only copper but the adhesive was conductive as well. I have never taken an electric guitar apart before but it was a lot easier than I originally thought it would be. When I was finished I plugged the guitar in there was absolutely no sound at all. I thought I broke it but I had to do a little adjusting as the input jack was touching the tape and shorting out, but when I smoothed the tape down a bit more, I got sound and the buzz had to be reduced by at least 85% so I am very happy to lessen this 60 cycle hum.
