  I bought it in July but have not used it very much--it stopped working today--tried other electric outlets--still not working--cannot recommend it at all as it would be a waste of money. Very disappointed!
  
  Update--it is working again--may have been my fault--before it stopped working, I had cleaned the filter. When I replaced the inner paper filter, I inserted it the wrong way--I think that prevented proper airflow and the vacuum shut down. The next day I realized my error and corrected the problem--it has been working fine since. So it seems to be working fine at the present time. Sorry for the initial negative review.
