  I bought it for medical reasons, kinda. I've had a cataract operation in one eye only and it has become very hard to focus on really short distances. The prescription glasses are only good for reading, but anything closer sucks. So I bought this and somehow it allows me to focus on stuff with either both eyes, or either one individually. It's hard to explain but this is a life saver for my hobbies.
