- Reviewed in Canada on August 19, 2023This scope is so compact and powerful and has great image clarity(some people not familiar with micro scope use will say the image is not in focus at high magnification. This is not the case, the image comes into perfect focus but has a very small depth of field, which means if you have a larger specimen under the scope only a small portion of the specimen will be in focus so you need to focus up and down ). It performs best on flat prepared microscope slides where depth of field focus is less of a problem.
