Because the handle cavity was almost 1 1/2 inch more inside, I had to remove with great difficulty the inside wood to permit the insertion. Also the lach itself got stuck and need to play with it so it clears the way to be closed with the key. So make sure the handle hole is the same as in your original door. In my case the handle hole was way off. It does look good but it get stuck when turning the key to close the door.Report PermalinkHelpful
