- Reviewed in Canada on October 17, 2021I bought this range hood looking for a high cfm suction power for a good price. Delivery was prompt. Installation was ok. But the grease cup was missing. I called Roxon's contact number listed on their website a few times. Someone hang up on me once. I tried to leave a detailed message but it keeps cutting me off. Finally I realized I can contact them thru 鶹 as I bought it thru them. Not sure if it is the numerous phone calls or my thru amazon message that I finally received a call back. Jay explained to me that this model does not require a grease cup although it is built with a grease cup holder and that the filter should do the job of collecting all the grease. But then he said if I really want one then he will send me one. Not sure if the 'does not need a grease cup' story is true but my old one has one. Saw how much grease it collected. This model has the holder where a grease cup should go so of course I want one. Jay actually promptly sent me a grease cup that I received the following day. (I live 2 hrs from their plant.) So far so good. I still need to test it's suction power by cooking something greasy. The noise level is not too bad either but I find that the filters are rattling (which you can only hear when you are standing next to the hood) when I have the power on max. The filters are longer than the filters on my old one so I don't know if that's what makes them flimsy or the quality of the stainless steel. Time will only tell.
