  My wife broke a tooth and needs to get a crown but the dentist wasn't available for about a week and she was in considerable discomfort. I tried to find it locally but local pharmacies didn't list a similar product online (and the dentist didn't have any) and since it was cheap and was available for next day delivery (we don't have same-day Prime delivery in our area), I went ahead and ordered it.
  
  This is sold as orthodontics wax and I was a bit worried it wouldn't "stick" to teeth (only to braces) but figured it was worth a shot. We received the product the next day and it worked as well as we could have hoped. My wife used it immediately and had no problem with it staying on her teeth. She was much more comfortable day and night and was able to sleep.
  
  I'm sure it works just as well for braces but from our experience it can be used for pain relief from a broken tooth digging into the cheek / gum.
