  What a pain in the butt outside pools are, and these things.
  
  Neither used normal household plumbing fittings in North America. So with adapters and some creativity I did get it to work, but it is a giant pain.
  
  that being said when it was working (it broke the second time we turned the breaker on and I have to see if I can fix it) it worked pretty good.
  
  We have a 10ft a above ground pool. We used the pump that came with the pool so that was no problem.
  
  For the price you are definitely going to add some head aches. But if you get it working its not bad.
