- Reviewed in Canada on July 3, 2022I am very disappointed that this product goes to great lengths to call itself natural and list how it has no harsh chemicals in it when it has a strong and clearly synthetic scent. I don't know their definition of "harsh" but a lingering scent that's still there after 12 hours with the windows open and is giving me a headache is in no way "natural". Indeed, the ingredient list has "fragrance" listed and it is obviously a chemical fragrance. No, it does not say fragrance free not was I expecting no scent at all, but I *was* expecting a natural citrus based fragrance, not a strong chemical one, based on the branding.
I think it is not okay to market something as clean and natural when it's full of chemical fragrance. That stuff is not safe to breathe in. I feel misled by Bissell on this. And as a side note, it smells nothing like citrus. Smells like cheap men's cologne. Obviously I will not use this a second time.
The cleaning power was okay which is why I gave it three stars. If you like cheap fake scents or don't mind them, and don't mind what you're breathing in inside your home, then this may be okay for you. But then, why not just go for the regular solution which probably cleans better?
