My Viking 53" grille required a new hood thermometer. I searched for an OEM piece and vendors are asking ridiculous prices. $150 for a thermometer that has a Viking Grille logo? I think not. This unit fits into the OEM bezel and the threads are long enough to go through the double layer hood. I am very happy with this purchase. The accuracy is as good as the original thermometer. Save your money any get this item!
