Poor quality plastic part that broke on first use.
I was surprised to find that the gray part of these is nothing but cheap plastic that doesn't even have filleted corners to strengthen it. For what they cost, they should be made out of aluminum or steel. This one broke so easily that I can't imagine an automotive job that they would be strong enough for. I think you could use it to pinch off that yellow silicone rubber tubing like is used on slingshots and that's about it. Vacuum hoses, fuel lines, brake lines etc. are all too tough for it IMO.
    Cannot recommend. Use Vise-grips instead.
