I've gone through countless gaming mice over the years, always hunting for that perfect combination of weight, responsiveness and reliability. This M3 might just be the one very close to end my search. The 47g weight feels almost unreal when you first pick it up, especially considering it houses a battery for wireless operation, making those quick flick shots in FPS games feel effortless after years of using heavier mice.

The connectivity options give this mouse serious versatility for different setups. I primarily use the 2.4GHz wireless connection with the included USB-C receiver for gaming since it provides that crucial low latency experience. The receiver itself is a nice touch, being larger than typical tiny dongles which makes it much harder to misplace (a problem I've had too many times). For work tasks or when battery life matters more, switching to Bluetooth mode is simple, though I've noticed it does add a slight but perceptible input delay that wouldn't work for competitive gaming scenarios. The wired USB-C option provides both charging and zero-latency operation simultaneously, perfect for when the battery gets low during intense gaming sessions.

Speaking of performance, the PAW3950 sensor with that ridiculous 42000 DPI capability tracks flawlessly on multiple surfaces. The 8000Hz polling rate (when using the wireless receiver or cable) creates an incredibly responsive feel with virtually no input lag that I can detect. The main buttons have a satisfying click without being too loud, and the programmable buttons are positioned thoughtfully to avoid accidental presses. Battery life has been impressive, lasting about a week of heavy daily use before needing a charge.
