  Some reviews call this a cheap Alien rip off. I don't know if the comparison was intended, but an undersea explosion intended to collapse a cavern and allow placement of a nuclear missile site instead woke an ancient sea creature that is fast and deadly. As is typical of these movies, one by one the team is wiped out until only two remain. They get to the surface thinking they are safe, only to be attacked again by the persistent creature.
  
  There's a decent amount of action and drama, and enough character building that you sympathize with at least a couple of the team. It may be a B-grade movie, but I've seen it a few times and was happy it was released on blu-ray. Extras are minimal but there are a few interviews.
