  I've attached this to my commuter bike. I hop curbs and even do a bit of light trail riding. With this you need to really tighten the screws at the joints, being careful not to break the tighter. Also, (and I say this is a need rather than a nice-to-have) I put carpet tape on my handle bar. 3m stick on one side to the handle bar and sandpaper like grip on the other. This helps the unit grip and not tilt forward or back when hopping curbs.
