Now I realize that the negative reviews are mostly by those who simply don't pay attention to instructions or maintain it properly. There's nothing wrong with this fountain. Nothing. It's smaller than I expected perhaps but not really as you can see in the picture it's perfect size for my needs. Not noisy at all! Shut it off once in a while to give the little motor a break. Change the water every 3 days with distilled. Place the rocks properly and it doesn't splash! It looks awesome, great ambiance, no noise, low level trickling sound. If you just leave it on for days with dirty water and rocks all over the place, you shouldn't even comment. The led light is still on thankfully which is the only thing I would think is out of our control. So far so good. Would recommend and buy again for the price.
