This is by far the best muffin pan I've ever had. Non stick, easy to clearn, sturdy ... It doesn't come any better. So reviewers say that there is no need to grease each cavity, but I guess is may have a lot to do with the kind of muffin that you're baking. For me, for classic wheat bran muffins, I use a paper towel and shortening to lightly coat each cavity. It works like a charm, once baked the muffins come right out effortlessly just by flipping the pan over.
