Customer Review

It took a long time to assemble, partly because the instructions are hard to follow (very small diagrams, no text) but mainly because you have to insert six washers over six holes with the screws and nuts all at the same time as you put the plate (C) on the column (B). The washers kept falling off or sliding out of place. Eventually, I had to put a tiny spec of double-sided tape on one of the washers to keep it in place while I placed the plate on the column. Then, as I did this, the bottom washer slipped out of alignment so I had to remove the whole thing and start all over. It took about an hour just to do this one step as I had to take several breaks because my arms were aching from repeated attempts to get the washers to stay in place.

When I put the TV on it, the TV was very noticeably wobbling as the weight of the TV apparently instantly loosened the bolts despite my having tightened the bolts well. I used a level to make sure the triangular pieces of metal (E- fixing panels) were level, but the TV is now not quite level as it titled slightly when I mounted it on the stand. It does swivel but doing so causes it to tilt even more so I had to push up on it from the bottom on one side to get it level.

In the video, it shows you can slide the TV along the plate but you can only do this if you loosen the bracket hooks (R) that hold it in place. Also, when you slide the TV to one side, it tilts very badly so it's not level. So it's irrelevant that you can slide the TV to one side or the other because you have to leave it centered to keep it level. This was a big disappointment as I had hoped to slide it a few inches to one side because the dresser I have it on is close to the wall and one side of the TV is right up against the wall. I have to have it swivelled to one side more than I would like for optimal viewing angle and it's angled too much to one side, which affects the picture quality. So I'm going to have to pull the dresser out from the wall a few inches so I can swivel the TV more towards the wall to get it at the best angle - which I wouldn't have to do if the TV didn't tilt when you slide it to one side!

And I only have a 43" TV weighing less than 20 lbs. I wouldn't use this stand for any larger size TV if it loosened this much (and why it wobbles and won't stay level when you swivel it) with only a small TV.
