Sound quality - overall the sound quality is good. i have noticed they can be lacking in the bass(especially if youre a bass head like me) but the mids and the highs do really well on these speakers. The bass and mids especially can be improved if you're a couple feet away, i have mine on my desk and when i stand a little farther away they sound quite a bit better, so ill personally have to work out my sweet spot. The highs are quite good without being shrill or tinny
Look - I really like the look of these, especially with the grill off. one of these speakers came with a lot of deep gouges and stuff in the face, so i contacted edifier and they replaced the one super quick. So props to edifier for being amazing. the front port and the woofer and tweeter all look super good, and though screws are showing, i personally think it looks amazing.
Quality - overall i cant speaker truly to the longevity of these as ive only had them for a month, however in that month i have not noticed a single depreciation or new broken thing on these at all. they have kept up with my blasting and man handling. Also these were quite heavier then what i expected, assuming that means more quality parts
Overall - these are an amazing deal for the price. Super good in my 2.1 setup (they might need a sub if youre a bass head like me as they are also front ported which dont help bass) and they are super good with movies and shows as well as music. I've been a fan of edifier because each time i turn these speakers, my r1280dbs on they just blow me away and the customer support is one of the best ive ever come across. If you're on the fence between these and the micca bookshelf speakers definitely these. these are amazing.
