- Reviewed in Canada on May 5, 2022Installed in a 2014 Mercedes Sprinter 2500. I checked their website and made sure it was compatible with my vehicle. Lock and unlock feature works great, installed with the drone app and had no problems. Found all the wiring diagrams online, but the remote start wouldn't work. Called tech support twice, and was on hold for over an hour, then hung up both times.
I finally got through the third time and was told remote start doesn't work with this model, and that I should have used a different model for remote start. I told him that the website and documentation all shows remote start, but he said that remote start was a "convenience" not a feature. I asked what that meant and he said that it won't work, they only offer it as a convenience. If I want to use remote start I have to get a CMBMX-AO with a wiring harness.
