  Bought this for my two dogs to play in on hot days. They are Labradors, 75 pounds each. It's a great size for them and their nails are not an issue. Very durable. The only complaint is that the connection to the hose leaks a lot, no matter how tight I attach it. Still works fun, but wastes a lot of water while running. And as we pay for water, it's a bit frustrating.
