  The concept of this is brilliant :-) In using it as a vlogging tripod like my Nikon z30, it worked fine but if you expanded the legs and extended it out, not so much. I tried this for using it as a stand for my Nikon SB700 flash after using a cold shoe adapter, and though it did work, it wasn't THAT stable. It worked though. Anything smaller should be fine. The phone adapter piece, though very well thought out, couldn't fit my Samsung S21FE with a case. For me, not a deal breaker as I wouldn't using my phone like that anyway. Worse case, I do have another adapter I can use and that would work just fine with this. Too early to say how well it will hold up. It's quite well made. In using it with my Z30, the combined weight made it a little heavy and the handle was a bit large for my hands. I have medium sized hands. it does have a fairly small foot print when used as a stand. It is worth looking at all things considered. Reasonably happy with and it serves my purposes.
