  So beautiful on Blu-ray! The colours are so rich. This animation is gorgeous already, but in high definition it's a whole other level.
  
  I love this story so much. Miyazaki's anti-war sentiment greatly influenced it. Sophie is such a wonderfully strong character. She suffers from self-doubt but ends up touching everyone around her with her kindness and patience.
  
  The cast for the English dub is A+, especially Jean Simmons, Emily Mortimer, Christian Bale, and Billy Crystal. Extra special shoutout to Christian Bale, whose voice works on so many different levels of Howl's personality: powerful wizard, charming ladies' man, insolent young adult.
