This tool really helped me track down a wiring issue in an older vehicle where a light wouldn鈥檛 come on. I didn鈥檛 have a shop full of gear, just this tester and a multimeter鈥攁nd this turned out to be the quicker option. I clipped the sender across the fuse line, then moved the probe along the path. The tone clearly dropped off when I hit the damaged section.
