  My original pump for my LG washer/dryer was grinding and couldn’t manage the 4 foot vertical up to the drain giving an ‘OE’ code so I ordered the unbranded OEM one and had the same problems! Sounded like it was pumping gravel and it gave the same ‘OE’ error code.
  
  After a lot of trials and second guessing, I finally ordered this actual LG branded pump. As soon as I heard it run for the first time it was a night and day difference. It was so quiet and actually had the pumping power it ought to.
  
  I don’t know if I had a dud and a replacement unbranded OEM one would have fixed my problem but after all the hassle, the time I wasted was worth more than the $20 extra the LG one cost me. So my advice is to just to get this one.
