Pros: - doubles as a hub for other Aqara accessories. I've been personally using it with the Temp/Humidity sensor - has automatic night vision - infrared and camera doubles as a motion detector - can be configured with Homekit out of the box - has sd card storage support when recording - has a privacy mode where it rolls the camera all the way down blocking any view
Cons: - advanced features (i.e. tilt controls, face recognition, gesture recognition, or nas storage) are locked behind cloud storage. A free cloud account will unlock most of the advanced features and a subscription is needed for the more advanced feature (they are mostly for cloud storage as 256gb SD card can only store 15 days of recording) - video feed using the app is 1296p (according to the app) but it look like 720p at most and fps is below 30 - video feed using the Homekit app is poopoo and no controls - you can't turn night-vision on manually. It can be turned off by switching the 'auto night-vision' off - when advanced features are unlocked, there is a sentry mode but only lasts 5hrs at a time - sentry mode does not work well with motion detection; camera movement is detected as motion - does not work well with HA (if you know what I mean)
