  I am one of the lucky ones....i got the ruler in a nice color...purple /blue. The ruler was durable and I like using it. I would recommend it to everyone and I would repurchase again in the future.
  I would not recommend bending it to test if it will break as with enough pressure anything will break. It is flexible and bendable....I love it!!
