For people who have seen the Dune 1984, David Lynch space opera, it ended were the second part of Villeneuve version is ending. Meaning that the third part to come will show what we didn鈥檛 see in the Lynch production. And I鈥檓 so excited about it.
For others that never read the book, like me, and found difficult to understand the real meaning of that story, on which the Lynch production left holes that could not be filled up, this one is answering all the questions left at the time. I already said in my review about the first part, that the Fremens have been given the attention that they should have in the 1984 production, and this one confirmed that. The story is about Paul Atreides, but it is also the story of the Fremens, and one does not go without the other.
Although I liked the Lynch version for is bold images, costumes and concept, I鈥檓 truly enjoying the story for the first time. The plot is fully detailed, it is complete, it is understandable. You know where they come from, what they鈥檙e doing, why they鈥檙e doing it and where they are going with it, all with breathtaking details, stunning images and amazing actors performance. This second part was a pure enchantment, Villeneuve did it again. Hoping the third and ending part will be release very soon.
