Customer Review

The freezer itself gets a 5-star review for being quiet and good at keeping the food frozen. It's also surprisingly light (at least when empty). But the experience of trying to reverse the door hinge was a 1-star experience, so we'll average it out to an overall 3-star review.

Trying to remove the hinges, screws, and hole covers was a nightmare. One of the covers snapped off in the hole, and one of the screws on the bottom hinge was stripped and had to be forced off with a socket wrench. The top of the fridge is now scratched from trying to dig out the hole covers and pry off the top hinge cover. And since one of the covers broke when being removed, there's a hole on the top of the fridge that I couldn't cover.

And to add insult to injury, it went on sale two weeks after I bought it.

So, all-in-all, if you don't mind the door hinging on the right, it's a great fridge. But if you want to swap the hinge to the left, be warned that it's not as simple as you might think. Would have been 100% better to send the door unattached so you could set it up how you wanted.
