Installation of any sticky film like this one is going to be tricky. Once it folds in on itself it is very hard to oull apart without causing wrinkles. Use a lot of water from a spray bottle and I peeled off the backing slowly as I was positioning them on the wall.
I used 2 of them side by side vertically for a bigger kitchen countertop, then one horizonally for a standard range stove, and then the last as a backsplash for a laundry sink.
You can spray some water around the edges if you need to peel it off again. It is easy enough to wipe and is hardly visible which is great.
