The 3 pieces are a nice option if you only want a smaller area for your items. Currently, I am using all 3 pieces that fit perfectly on the back of the stove. I did not have to use the magnets that came with the shelves as they seemed to "stick" to the stove sufficiently without them. Easy to wash if needed. Since my stove does not sit flush against the wall, I couldn't place the shelves as far back as I wanted to because I was scared they would fall behind the stove, so I centred them on the back instead and they seem quite secure. Overall, very pleased with this purchase.
