  Our son bought this for us to replace an aging machine. We love the convenience of having a carafe OR a single serve. The only downside is that there aren’t duo controls so both can’t be used at the same time. For example, the power has to be turned off on the carafe if you want a single serve. This means you lose the heating element for the carafe.
