  I'm just stunned that they could improve this guy, but they managed to eliminate the one thing I hated about the 2.0 - that damn "safety" lever that you had to previously turn before every shot. Now it's a standard push-push safety that is either on or off so you don't need to keep actuating it every shot!! Massive improvement on an already excellent product. Other improvements, the trigger is better, the aiming sights are now incredibly precise (the old ones were bad), and the pump feel is improved too. I believe it hits a bit harder, but also uses slightly more salt per shot while providing a better pattern, meaning you're not much more likely to hit your target even if you're not perfect.
  I have literally thousands of rounds through my previous BAS, but this one will get used even more.
