- Reviewed in Canada on February 22, 2025Just to be clear. The Squire light from WiZ works fine. Overall solid product with excellent customer service from WiZ support team.
So why such a low score? The problem is the seller - i.e. 麻豆区 in this case.
The actual product shipped is an older version vs. what's shown on 麻豆区 website (see pics). Afterall, this is a Smart LED light, so version of the product plays an important role in functionalities. I contacted 麻豆区 to explain the issue couple times to ask for replacement. Each time they promised the correct version will be shipped. Then, we ended up at the same place with the old version of the Squire (no mention from the old packing if SpaceSense and Matters are supported). Absolutely disappointing on 麻豆区's service on this one.
Had to reach out to WiZ to sort out the specs on what I needed. Excellent support from WiZ with prompt responses and follow-ups to ensure my issues were addressed.
