- Reviewed in Canada on August 13, 2020I was really looking forward to this Blu Ray set. The quality of the picture and color was terrific, however the picture is a square. It does not fill out a modern flat screen TV. I assume this is due to how the show was originally formatted, so not a lot you can do about that.
The other disappointing thing was the missing episodes from “The Scooby Doo/Dynomutt Hour” (1976-78). That show was divided into three seasons, and only the 3rd season from that series was included.
From what I gathered from the internet is the 3rd season were broadcast as Scooby Doo, Where are You? Hence why the makers of this set opted to omit the content from the first two seasons.
This however was a really big fail in my books. As you can see from the list below, there were some really good episodes there to be had.
At least the two original seasons from 1969-70 are there, fully intact. These excellent episodes are true backbone of this series.
