  Strong adhesive that is conductive, so it is easy to make overlapping strips to completely shield an area. I was having a lot of problems with static on the pickguard of my home made strat and this cleared up my problems. I used it on two guitars. The first one I was painstakingly cutting the tape to fit before sticking it on, but it is much easier to trim the tape after it has been stuck on with a sharp knife for edges and Pickup holes, and you just need to poke something through the screw holes - no need to cut them out. The tape has a tendency to curl up upon itself when you peel the backing off, so be forewarned. Once you get the hang of it, it is quite easy to use.
