  These are attractive and well-made, but.....they do not support my 19 lb. speakers. The listing says they will work with speakers up to 22 lbs.. They are made adjustable by having one tube slide up and down inside a slightly wider tube. There is a thumbscrew which is tightened to fix the inside tube at the desired height. However, it will not tighten adequately to support my speakers at the desired height.
  
  I addressed the problem by setting the stand at the height I desired and drilling a 1/4 inch hole horizontally through both tubes and inserting a bolt through from one side to the other. It is not very noticeable and, ...Voila, they meet my need.
