- Reviewed in Canada on June 18, 2025I picked up this handle for the added convenience of closing the screen door on my RV from the inside. It also gives a good spot to hang things as well. It is a relatively simple design but I feel it has more parts than are necessary, especially when compared to the simpler albeit more costly Camco handle. Instead of just 3 pieces; 2 ends and the middle bar, this one has 5; 2 ends, 2 metal bars and a middle plastic spacer bar. While not a huge issue I do feel it ads more failure points and potential to loosen up with use. That said, once all is tightened up it is reasonable solid. I just hope it stays so. Setup was easy enough but again you are dealing with multiple pieces, setting distances and trying to keep alignment. I suggest using masking tape to hold things in place as you get each of the sections set that will then allow you to screw them down.
My only other issue with this handle is that the quality control on the parts is a bit lacking. The overall finish of the parts is OK but they could be better, especially the middle black bar. Also, sadly, this same piece has several sections that are damaged and due to the structure of the handle I am unable to hide these sections. As a result I will probably replace this handle down the road with a better one.
Overall, I was a little disappointed with the quality and structure of this handle. While it does work it does not look the best while doing so.
