  This is a great spice grinder. I use it to grind my berbere, garam masala, dried peppers and spices for my harissa, etc. It is very fast, grinds small quantities instantly in a whirlwind without leaving anything untouched. it easily handles larger amounts although if you fill it much above the blade it will slow down. Have no fear of leaving flavours behind to contaminate the next batch, because the bowl detaches easily to wash out in the sink or dishwasher (but I don't intend to use the dishwasher). The bowl design does allow a little dust to get underneath requiring a wipe with a damp cloth but that's a minor issue. It comes with a cap to seal the grinding bowl to store your ground spices: huh? This is the only really silly part of this spice grinder. I would never store anything in the grinder bowl. I would definitely buy this again, and if it ever gives up, I will.
