Aside from that, it was super easy to install, although I wish it had some instructions with it. I was not sure if I needed to use some of the rubber fittings / gaskets provided and having some examples of how to use some of the different mounting options would be good. So I simply removed the original antenna and noticed it was just simply screwed in. So I eye-balled the best screw and test it by hand to be sure and went for it.
I rarely listen to radio anymore. But I tested it and it seemed fine to me.
I am not sure if it will last a long time or if it will start peeling the paint or something. I live in Ontario with some harsh winters and lots of salt, so I would not be surprised if it did. But if I get 4-5 years out of it, for the price, I would be fine with that.
