  Bought it for pancakes, eggs and French toast. I can make 6 pancakes at a time vs only 3 with a large skillet. The heat distribution is perfect and the nonstick coating is excellent.
  
  There is a small rim along the perimeter which lets it sit on the base without any locking clips. It doesn't have a grease trap and it's on the smallish side so it won't be great for greasy frying. I prefer using a pot with a lid for food that splatters, anyway.
  
  The cooking surface is 16x9 inches and the plate is removable and fits in the sink. The compact size makes it easy to store.
  
  Overall, it's a great time saver for breakfast cooking.
