Both of the shafts need to be cut back,as was probably done at the factory. One quick connector had to be saved from the old motor and one wire terminated as factory. Additional parts required was two 16-18 gauge shrink butt connectors and a 16 gauge termination terminal. About 5 inches of copper strap to make a new holder for the new capacitor, as it is oval and original is round. Very easy replacement.
