鶹 Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? )
Ordered this for use with my camera which is kind of heavy at 830g. Noticed that having the camera dangling from the traditional neck strap on a hike or bike ride strained my neck a bit.

The straps are 25mm wide elastic,
The webbing which connects to your equipment is 8mm wide non-elastic.

This strap does distribute the weight better. I can wear the camera for a long time without discomfort. Due to the elastic nature I have no problem bringing the camera up to eye level. Also, the elastic absorbs shock when bike riding so I don't feel the camera weight when hitting bumps, though the camera can hit my knees a bit when it dips down (If I tightened the straps it would keep it more snug to my chest, but then it would be difficult to bring to eye level without loosening)

Sometimes you want the camera or binoculars out of the way while you lean over to do something or to carry something against your chest - this strap can be worn reversed to keep the camera at your back like a backpack which is not practical with a traditional neck strap.

You can also use this strap as you would a traditional neck strap if need be, just doubled at your neck.

I like the bright orange patch which makes it easy to find the otherwise all black camera + strap.

I don't like how the webbing is supposed to be looped to attach to the camera lugs because the edges of the webbing become stressed/expanded and it would get easily caught/frayed when touching something like velcro. Instead I used the webbing slide loops that came with my camera's strap (webbing is doubled through them.)

The "leather" parts (orange patch and the black parts where the webbing loops join the buckles) have an odour similar to latex rubber. Reminds me of my old Halloween mask. Since this part at webbing loop comes right near my nose every time I raise the camera it is annoying. I hope the smell fades, but it seems like it has not faded over a couple weeks use. They should have used an odourless material for this part.
